Guest guest
I love cheese! With a passion!! perhaps too much... I know cheese is fattening but is it bad for me to eat some?? It will be really hard to give it up as it makes so many meals, cheesy pasta, cheese on toast, jacket spud with cheese... My list could go on forever. Please someone tell me I can slim and still have some cheese!!!! for my own sanity!!! from slightly mad cheese loving Kerry
Guest guest
I love cheese too, but about 5 years ago I developed a gall bladder infection and was on a very low fat diet for several years. During that time I stayed away from all fats & limited myself to less than 20 grams of fat per day. That eliminated cheese entirely. I discovered that my problem was hydrogenated fats--I cannot tolerate them. They will put me back into gall bladder problem. However, I did not just jump back into cheese. I buy the very best cheese possible and have very small amounts with sliced apples, fresh veggies, etc. So, I buy French brie, imported smoked gouda, 5 year- old cheddar, etc. and I eat tiny amounts. That meets my craving for cheese. The rest of the time, I make my home made chai lattes with nonfat milk and enjoy them. Good Luck Kathleen I love cheese! With a passion!! perhaps too much...
