I like Birkenstock, but don't like their thin soles, I like Tatami by Birkenstock but haven't found them in the 40 dollar range on eBay, yet. I also find that tatamis " break in " more easily than traditional birks. But- the tatami sole is actually thinner than that of a traditional birkenstock.
