Reminder: Happy Bamboo vegan dinner in San Jose tonight 5/11/10

Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' " Happy Bamboo dinner " in San

Jose tonight May 11, 2010 at 7pm. I hope more people can make it as I have

only received 2 RSVP's so far...

But please note that I am negligent in updating the event description and

that Happy Bamboo is now completely vegan.

 

Happy Bamboo is located just off the 85 freeway at Camden (at Branham) in

San Jose.

The dinner is open to both veg*ns and non-veg*ns.

 

I would appreciate getting a fairly exact count of who will be attending, so

that the staff can be prepared to accommodate us. Please RSVP by 5pm on the

day of the dinner, by replying to this email or here:

But, don't feel like if you didn't RSVP by the cut-off, you can't come.

Please do still come. And it is okay if you are running a bit late. We

generally don't order until 7:15/7:30ish and we do family-style, so there is

usually plenty of food for folks who show up late, or we just order more.

 

If it's possible, please try to carpool to the dinner. If you would like to

offer a ride to others or are looking to carpool, you may reply to this

message to let folks know, and then please make arrangements off-list.

 

Also, if you would like to bring home leftovers (though we never seem to

have any) or order food to-go, please try to bring a re-usable container.
