Guest guest
Here's another Chorizo idea. As suggested - we could substitute fleshless products so I edited this recipe with that in mind. I tested the original recipe and can only guess that the sauce would go well with the alternatives. * Exported from MasterCook * Chicken and Chorizo in a Chile and Orange Sauce Recipe By :Basic Flavorings: Chiles Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound potatoes 4 plum tomatoes 2 tablespoons olive oil 8 ounces baby onions 2 whole garlic cloves 4 servings chicken breast substitute 2 chorizo-tofu sausages 1 tablespoon hot Chile paste or harissa 1 pinch chili powder 3 tablespoons sherry 1 large orange -- grated rind and juice salt and pepper TO SERVE: cumin seed -- toasted 4 tablespoons sour cream Peel the potatoes and cut into chunks (1-inch or less), then peel and chop the tomatoes (1/2 " dice). Guest guest
Pat & All: There's a product by Boca Burgers called " Meatless Tenders " (frozen) that is similar to grilled chicken breast. That sounds like something that could be used in this recipe. Karen
