mama gathering conference (veggi food will be there)

I thought I would share this link on a parenting conference that is serving

only vegetarian food (vegan friendly, I bet!)

Mama gathering 2003 will take place in Los Angeles July 11-13, 2003

" Mama Gathering 2003 is a conference and gathering for and by feminist mamas

of all ages, shapes and shades. It's a celebration of mamas whose parenting

and/or lifestyle choices set them apart from the mainstream and who want to

connect with others who consider the same unique issues. Other mamas at the

playground think you're weird because you unabashedly breastfeed in public or

unschool your kid or you don't look like them? Whether you have little in

common with the moms you meet in your area or have a great mama community and

want to connect with others, you are invited to attend Mama Gathering 2003 in

Los Angeles in July 2003. Mama Gathering is an independent,

volunteer-produced, DIY event-- a grassroots effort to bring together our

huge and far-flung community of radical mamas. Pack up the kids and make it

your family vacation or enlist your best mama friends and make it a

well-deserved getaway. There will be fun, food, workshops, the beach, a party
