Guest guest
LOL Have you tried golden beets? Those are quite a strong a flavor as red beets. My sis will eat the golden beets and not the red. It's worth a try. (:- ) I love shoestring beets canned beets covered with this vegan sauce from the files. It's from Native Foods restaurant. Funny how I will serve this along side the famous bottled Ranch brand and everyone goes after this one and wants the recipe. " Native Foods Ranch Dressing " 1 cup Vegan mayonnaise 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. black pepper 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley 1/2 to 1 cup unsweetened soy milk (you can adjust the thickness) Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk to blend. Chill until ready to use. This is wonderful on salads, as a dip for veggies or chips, over rice, etc. Donna denise rounds <deniserounds wrote: I like to saute the beets and greens with gahhhhhlick, olive oil and a little butter for consistency! I usually only eat the greens, I CANNOT stand the actual beet! I am trying to get to like them! I had a babysitter that swore that beets were great for my eczema. She made me eat beets 3x daily! My ezcema never improved! I am scarred and traumatzed for life, I have nightmares! LOL!!!!
