Guest guest
Hi Laura, Don't you be sorry, no problem at all. I was just checking. We have to proof read to make sure measurements and ingredients look correct before we file. I don't know what those things are called either.LOL Bac'O Bits or Bac'O's or something. By the way, these recipes look very good. Sending you a hug, Donna

Guest guest
Hi Laura, It's so easy to ask a friend for a recipe and they email it with an animal product in it. Even though we know to make a sub. it's easy to forward the recipe to the group and not modify it. I have almost done that. I thought maybe that was what happened with your recipe. I still don't know what those soy bacon things are called. I'll have to find out. My 2 of my in-laws were shocked when I told them lard wasn't vegetable shortening so they don't use lard anymore. I had a girlfriend make me a dish with anchoives in it, she thought they were from the caper family. I was stunned to see all the gelatin in much of the candy out there. HAve a nice Friday! Guest guest
Laura, look at it this way. You have come a very long way. Shopping will be easier as you balance your meals out, you still need to watch labels because ingredients do change as new companies buy the old ones out and keep the same name on the container.
