As my body has become cleaner, I've actually found that I really can shave using nothing but water. But it's not just the water, it's the light steam...I shave in the shower. I let the place steam up a bit, do other things for a few minutes, let the rather warm water run over my face, then shave my face. I've been doing this for years. And I also shave against the grain, in other words, opposite the direction in which the hair lies. Concerned about use of oil, clogs the pores. Guest guest
Hi Megan & Elchanan, I gave up using anything but water for shaving some fourty years ago, and with cold water at that. I have never experienced any problems through doing so and have experienced being able to continue to use a safety razor many times before needing to discard it. It may be as well to mention that when I was young I was fair headed. When I adopted a natural Lifestyle my hair became much darker and I have one photo taken 25 years ago in which it is black. Today it is white. John John L.
