Yesterday, a petition was started asking to reconsider its

format changes made over the weekend without notice. There are

already

over 11,800 signatures. If the following things are bothering you:

 

~ reversal of " Previous " and " Next " when reading messages

~ serif rather than sans-serif font style (sans-serif is PROVEN

easier

to read online)

~ increased " white space " meaning increased scrolling necessary to

read

messages

~ " preview line " under subject lines in Messages lists meaning it is

more difficult to scan subject lines to pick out the messages you're

interested in.

 

and much more.

 

If you are unhappy with the changes, let your voice be heard, and

opinions known!!

I'll sign it. I dislike this new format much. The ends of the lines

disappear when typing and I don't need to read a little bit about the

message before going to it. Just a list of the messages was

great. " Next " should go up instead of down, like you say. I don't

like the new font style much either. And the scrolling with the

superfluous " white space " especially horizontally is annoying too.

Yeah, the " preview line " thing is annoying. I wouldn't doubt that

this new, wacky setup would discourage people from coming here.
