SF Vegan Bakesale is THIS SATURDAY! Over 50 vegan bakers!

Hey All!

 

Inspired by the success of the World Wide Vegan Bakesale, we've decided it's

time to do this on the regular and make some money for the animals! The

inaugural Vegan Bakesale SF is this Saturday, October 17th in front of Ike's

Place (3506 16th St at Sanchez in SF, www.ilikeikesplace.com) from 11 am to 4

pm. All proceeds from this sale will to go to Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue

(http://www.givemesheltersf.org/). They do amazing work and are in desperate

need of funds to rescue cats who are on death row. WE NEED TO HELP!

 

Please stop by the sale to enjoy treats from the editors of VegNews Magazine,

Violet Sweet Shoppe, Sugar Beat Sweets, Fat Bottom Bakery, Idle Hands Baking

Company, Cinnaholic, Pure Life Chef, Philip Gelb, Brassica Supperclub and SO

MANY MORE! Some of the items coming include caramel apples, whoopie pies,

cupcakes, cakes, pies, cookies, gluten-free goodies, dog biscuits and more! All

vegan, all delicious, every penny going to the cats!

 

There will also be cats and kittens up for adoption from Give Me Shelter. Yay!

In addition, TJ Basa from the San Francisco Committee for Human Rights in the

Philippines (sfchrp.weebly.com) will be there with a table to collect donations

and relief supplies for victims of Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy).
