Guest guest
Hi everyone,While the Sf VegFest is going on, and there will be awesome folks speaking and tabling there, a giant free music festival will be going on not too far away in Golden Gate Park -- the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. I mention this because an astonishing 750,000 (!) people reportedly attended last year, and I would love for as many of them as possible to get a flyer about vegetarianism. Is anyone up for leafleting with me? The three-day festival starts tomorrow, with the bulk of the people there Sat and Sun. Is anyone up for leafleting with me? In addition, I'd like for us to have a calendar of upcoming events that provide great leafleting opportunities. Anybody up for creating this? It would be a great resource for local activists to work from. Guest guest
Thanks Nora ... Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is definitely an awesome place to leaflet! I went last year, huge crowds, but unfortunately I can't go at all this year. Another place I was wondering about ... is it a good idea to leaflet outside BART stations during peak commute hours? I've noticed a steady stream of foot traffic pouring out of the BART station, between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Is there any law or restriction that would prevent me leafletting on the sidewalk as the people are coming out? If not, I'd love to get to work a little early and spend 20 to 30 minutes leafletting there. And Alex, BRAVO with the Maggie Mudd vegan ice cream promos! I think " but I love ice cream " is a major block that keeps people from going vegan. Once they try Maggie Mudd, the block is GONE. Maggie Mudd's vegan ice cream is so yummy!!! Keep up the great work. Take care, Rachel D. San Francisco, CA
