Being the token vegan I need some ammo & are looking for URL links on the following topics: * arguments about by-kill from combine harvesters & other plant food machinery (ie animals get killed by combine harvesters that produce veg food is it still ethical to eat) * the url from the article about growing meat from cells in a lab & comments about the ethics of it * organic farming is sustainable in the long term on a big scale (okay I know I should know stuff about it but I don't have many URLs just a bunch of journal articles) * anything anti dairy becuase, well, I hate the dairy industry & it's bound to come up * arguments about levels of awareness eg thinking eggs are okay but disagreeing with battery hen cages * stuff about roos (roo culling) & how farming has stuffed the environment in Australia up ta muchly for any info given. I must note that at least once a year this particular list has a massive flame war about veg*an issues & noone ever changes sides and theres about 2 or 3 veg*ans against the 20 odd omni's that choose to comment. But it's a great way to refine arguments and discover new points of view. I also just went and heard Peter Singer talk, it was packed & they had to turn people away, it was really good about ethics without the species barrier.
