Guest guest
Hi Angela and everybody...I have been about 75% raw for about 2 months and then this last weekend I made the leap to 100%. After only 3 day I have stopped having disturbing dreams, upon awaking feel MUCH more refreshed, feel calmer in general. I addition to eating 100% raw, the list owner, Orionsdad, suggested that I get more sleep (I was not getting an adequate amount to regenerate in relation to the stressload I carry), aerobic exercise, walking and also he recommended that I exfoliate nightly in the shower to get rid of the toxins in my system, which appeared to be accumulating in the form of a " rash " on my skin. A large area of that on my chest has come off already. I would love to hear what you are doing, Angela, as another new raw fooder, and what you are experiencing. I should note too, that the only minor negative has been a very small amount of soreness in my hip joints. I think its just the toxins releasing. Also, I had been drinking water too, and I was peeing so much and so often (every 20 minutes! LOL) that I asked Orionsdad about it, and he said, you know, drink water when you're actually thirsty, as most of your water is in your food, and it's distilled water too, which is good. He explained the SAD is low in water because when you cook food it loses most of it's water. He also said that drinking so much water adds stress to my kidneys. So I had a big aha moment there. OK so that is my journey so far. There are more details but you've all heard enough! =0) -Barbara
Guest guest
Barbara~ Thanks so much for sharing some of your journey. I love reading about other people's raw experience, and how they feel. Its all I want to talk about lately. or read about. I'm excessive in all things! The exfoliating sounds interesting, and something I am thinking about doing. That is so wonderful that already you feel so much more refreshed~! Guest guest
I forgot to say that I am thinking about setting up a livejournal specifically for raw blogging. If I do I will certainly give out the url, and would love to read more about other peoples experience too. Is this something you think you might like to do as well? ps I abhor water, but am working on it. That takes the pressure off ! Guest guest
Barbara, Thank you for your story. It is very encouraging, i am a vegetarian for life, but trying to be raw for four weeks now. I have cheated a few times, because my wife cooks everyday and entices me to eat her food. it is a challenge. it is good to hear stories like yours. ThanX Peace. Guest guest
It is nice that this site is getting so many posts. It gives me something positive to do instead of non-raw eating. What a great support group! Rich New Forum: www.rawfoodeaters rawfood , Angela LaMonte <amadera656> wrote: > Barbara~ > Thanks so much for sharing some of your journey.
