Hi Werner

The Nazis used human skin to make lampshades, and the fat to make soap.

Apparently the Israeli soldiers who are killed fighting are skinned so that the skin can be used for skin grafts etc.

Yes, I agree with you. Lets eat our fellow creatures. Have you ate any humans lately ... quite tasty I hear. And how about eating your pets ... your cats or dogs for example. They taste good too. Just make sure that humans you kill and eat are free range and fun loving fellow creatures and don't waste their skin. There must be some use for human skin ... just think of the possibilities.

Werner.

As I am a meat eater (I only joined the group to give the warning Therefore, I believe that it is no more immoral for a human to eat our fellow creatures than for any other homnivores or carnivores, so long as one sticks to free range and hunted animals, and do not waste

I'm curious... can you wash extensions just like you do natural hair?

I hear you. I had to D.I.Y. it with my hair for a year before I could

justify spending the bucks on extensions. Money makes you evil, anyway.

LOL.

Sort of. I'm used to washing my hair every dair, so this is going to be the

biggest challenge for me: washing my hair 1x/week.

Supposedly (being that I just got these Saturday, I can't verify this

personally) extensions don't get as dirty as real hair as they are pulled

away from the scalp and the braids are tight so they keep stuff out. You

put special sprays on the braids to keep them shiny and moisturized and

special oil on your scalp to keep it moisturized and fresh. So we shall

see... I have to be careful when I wash mine as I have white girl hair and

the braids may slip :( If they start to smell funny, tho', they are coming

right out...

Ah, ok. I always wondered what people did with permanent braids and

dreads. I hope they don't decide to fall off :)

Thanks, Joel! I think they're in there pretty good, though. I will be sad

if they start popping off of their own free will. I'm still pretty smitten

with them. They are a bitch to sleep on, though. Truth be told.

Especially the first night because my scalp was so tender. Ouchies.

Ah, beauty must suffer!

What kind of red? Have fun! Let me know how they turn out! The woman who

braided my hair said that the kanakelon fiber hair is the best. Just ask

where the jumbo braid is when you get inside the beauty salon shop and read

the bottom of the labels on the front. There are several varieties of

fibers for synthetic hair and she said that if it's not kanakelon, it might

pinch and damage your hair.

Yay for extensions!

I think they are recommending tea tree for it's freshness. I got a bottle

of scalp oil from the local drugstore that is called African Royale -- it

was in the black haircare section. It's got all kinds of neat oils in it

and you can use it in your hair and on your scalp and as far as I can tell,

it is vegan. The only questionable ingredients are " fragrance " and

" cyclomethicone. " Can't verify the origins of those... It's marked cruelty

free, though. I haven't used it yet -- I'm waiting until after I wash my

hair.

awwwww -- thank you :-D!!!!

The oil I got is supposed to be heated (like a hot oil treatment, I guess)

and being that I have yet to use it, I won't say more than that. It smells

pretty good and doubles as a body oil, evidentally. Hmmm... I will use it

sparingly, though :)
