Easy Chili

1 package vegetarian burger mix (enough to make four

1 medium onion -- coarsely chopped

1 green pepper -- coarsely chopped

1 carrot -- sliced

3 cloves garlic -- finely minced

1 16 oz. can crushed tomatoes or tomato pure

1 16 oz. can tomato sauce

1 16 oz. can beans -- (try kidney, pinto,

2 tablespoons chili powder

3/4 teaspoon cumin

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

 

Cook the burgers according to package directions. Combine the rest of the

ingredients in a large pot. Crumble the burgers with your fingers and add to

chili sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
