Hi Eco

Welcome to the list... you never know, toast is quite an important issue,

and could raise some deep divisions among list members (although I doubt it

will!)

I have to ask... what's Tartex? Sounds like something you'd lay a road

with!!!

I could give it a go - but don't think I'd get the sauce the same - although I did read the ingredients list on a lentil pate that we like - and reproduced that minus the salt :-)

He doesn't like the texture of chick peas. Texture is quite a large

part of people's dislike of certain foods.

I don't like hot spices. I don't like painful food!

Hi Peter,

Tartex is a vegetable pate and comes in various flavours. It's downfall

is it contains hydrogenated vegetable oils, which is a shame because

itt tastes so good. I don't have it often because of that, just a treat

from time to time.

Hi Nikki

>Just what do you think I put in my jelly? ;)

Does it really matter? I mean, jelly tends to have that consistency about it that could suggest " explosive " to customs officials... besides which, after a conversation I had about exploding cake, I'd hardly want to risk any confectionary at customs!!!!
