The deepest I remember was about 3 foot high in places - I remember that it came up to over my waist... that was great fun :-)

 

Sadly we don't get much snow at all nowadays - only the odd scattered bit. Last decent snow we had was 4 years ago - last time I had a snowball fight :-)

forecast is right - 33C! I know some of you like it but I hate it that hot.

We did have snow one year that lasted until June in one shaded spot!

there';s a whole train of thought that

global warming will cause a shut down of the Gulf Stream (do to influx of fresh

water from the melting ice caps and temp changes in the sea)

no Gulf Stream, and the Uk and northern europe plunges into a deep freeze

about how long does it take to get across chi-town nowadays?

i remember traffic was wretched back in the 80's, early 90's,,,,at least the

times i went it was!!

then again...traffic is pretty wretched everywhere nowadays...

LOL - Actually, we are called CAM's for short. We use quite a lot of

acronyms, there are also those called a RAM, DSM, RSM, NAC, NAM, EAM...

 

And those are just some titles. We shorten more in conversations too.
