Hi Fraggle

>never shoveled driveways as a lil peter did you....!

Can't say that I did - there really didn't seem much point - it's much better to just have fun :-)

Hi Cortney

LOL - I visited Minneapolis in February... but absolutely no-one would have a snowball fight with me. I guess you're just all too used to having snow out there. Still, I managed to have some fun by walking down the middle of the White Water (?) river which was nicely iced over :-)

Ah well ........ that's because you are lucky enough to get real snow, but you won't share it with us. Our snow is normally only one or two inches deep nowadays!

Re: Re: Is this a snowball I see before me?

twould never work fer when i lived back east

vehicles would just get snowed in...

and then thrill of thrills, after spending all morning shoveling the driveway clear...the snowplow would come by and bury the end of it back up again...

and then come back an hour later and do the same thing..only this time take yer mailbox out as well

Drive over it. The chap with the house at the end of our little drive puts sand out down the steep slope to the main road. The main road is usually gritted.

Hi Jo

What is the most snow you would get at a time?

Here we can get 6 inches in a couple of hours some winters. Driving

over it is not an option. Though I wish it was! :)

I live right on Lake Michigan about 2 hours from Chicago. You're lucky you live near the city, my small town has very few vegan options for eating out. Hi Nikki

W're lucky to get an inch in south England nowadays :-( When I was a

youngster we used to get anywhere between 6 inches and 18 inches. I suppose

it's the fault of global warming.

I'm not sure it will work that way. I thought we would not get much of a

range of temperature - sort of around 10 degrees centigrade :-[

Yes, I am so cruel. The rubbing in of shoveling my drive and sidewalks

and my fathers for 5 hours straight back and forth because the snow

wont stop falling.

Sometimes 3 days in a row. So cruel, so very cruel.

No to mention before my Gramma moved to Virginia I had to do hers too.

What a meanie... ;)

2 hours across the water or by car?

We have lots of Vegan options, but unfortunately most of them are on

the North Side and I am on the South. :)

I work as a Commercial Account Manager which is a fancy term for

outside sales for large businesses, corporate and national accounts.

(No comments on the title PK) :)

Hi Jo

We don't get nearly as much as we used to either.

They were saying the other day on the news that the earth is the

hottest it has been in 20 years.

Add in the flooding we have been having in the Eastern states and it

makes ya wonder!

I'm two hours by car, on the Michigan side. Though lots of Chicago folks come up by boat because my town is settled on the mouth of the Kalamazoo river. I would never make fun of your title, mainly because your title makes it sound like you could kick my ass. -Cortearthstrm <earthstorm wrote: 2 hours across the water or by car?We have lots of Vegan options, but unfortunately most of them are on the North Side and I am on the South. :)I work as
