We seem to have very differing views on what Doctor Who should be. I thought this week's was very good and compared well against last week's episode.

Horses for courses. If we all liked the same thing, then it would be boring wouldnt it? I didnt think a lot of last weeks either, apart from being a vehicle to introduce the new companion. I just thought tonights episode was cliched , had a wafer thin story line, and relied a lot on special effects to make up for it. Actually the Dr Who confidential programmes on BBC directly after, are better than the episodes!
