Guest guest Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Has anyone's firm made plans for Christmas lunch yet? Ours is all finalised now. I eventually mananged to find out what I would be served - pine nut salad, butternut squash stirfry and vegan chocolate cake with a fruit sauce. Could be better - but could be worse too. At least they have made an effort. Jo

Guest guest Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Halloween is celebrated mainly by the younger generations here - it wasn't celebrated much at all when I was young - so there is nothing for that at work. Of course, being Pagan we celebrate Samhain then. Guest guest Report post Posted October 10, 2005 It's definitely more difficult in Italian restaurants - which is strange because if you are vegetarian, and eat dairy, Italian restaurants are easy. Guest guest Report post Posted October 11, 2005 Hi Jo Sounds yummy to me! I'm not sure if we will do anything for X-mas here, I don't believe we did last year. But when we have meetings that involve lunch it is usually pizza. So I run downstairs to the cafe for a salad if we are meeting in our DC. Guest guest Report post Posted October 11, 2005 Hi Nikki It's quite nice going out to lunch (apart from the fact that it takes about three hours, so cuts down on work time :-) ). Luckily the people in my department are nice, so it is good fun. BB Jo - " earthstrm " <nikkimack Tuesday, October 11, 2005 6:20 PM Re: Works Christmas Lunch? > Hi Jo > > Sounds yummy to me!
