Hi lynda,

I am interested in what you said about you cultivating endangered flowers.

In the future, could i possibly buy some seeds from you.

do you think they would grow well in florida?

I love to have plants that are rare. I just got an orchid

and so far its doing well.

as for playboy?

you musta been/must be good looking. no magazine in their right

mind would ask Me to pose, lets just say I don't fit their

qualifications. I'm UGly!

My resume is not that impressive, but I plan to always keep myself

active in life.

I have to be working on my third or fourth masters or PHd, by the time

I am in my sixties, one should never stop learning.

my favorite color is Red. and Green, but not together, cause then it's

christmas.

coordinator, grant writing, ranch owner, grocery store manager, fast

foods manager, registrar [public school], admin asst. to the

purchasing agent [City of Santa Rosa], fiscal administrator

[reservation] and half a dozen other jobs. I find most businesses to

be boring and I don't do bored very well, so I move on to more

interesting areas. Plus, one can do more than one job at a time. I

owned a ranch for 14 years while I also co-owned a meat market and

managed a couple of fast foods outfits. I still do grant planning and

have done it while doing other jobs. I worked with ex-offenders

programs and did and still do animal rescue while working 9 to 5 jobs.

Hey, and I managed to raise 6 kids of my own and a couple of dozen

foster kids and " orphans " and homeschooled them, headed up 4-H groups

and hauled the kids and horses to horse shows. I'm the original

multi-tasker <g> And in my spare time I knit, crochet, paint, grow

organic veggies, grow flowers [mostly natives and rare and endangered

plants], sew, do cross-stitch, play the piano, the organ, violin and

the dulcimer and the youngest kidlet and I are going to learn Japanese.

my cowerkers think that I am silly for having issues cause they pay

very well.

But I am VEgan, for lack of a better word, does not emcompass

me,altoghetr but in general

Hi jo,

I think lynda,

has expressed regret in a previous email regarding her meat butchering

days. If i remember correctly.

I once met a meat buthcher who turned vegetarian. (for health reasons

only though).

Yes, I have a question. What topic do you not know about? That is what

I would like to talk about next.

I'm tired of everyone on this list being wrong unless they agree with

you, not knowing what they are talking about, being told what their

opinion should be and so on. I would like an open discussion for once

without someone always having to be the authority on the subject.

And the holier-than-thou attitude. If you know something someone

doesn't share it by all means. I love to learn! But you would make a

bad teacher as condescending as you are. And even teachers admit that

they are sometimes wrong. I wish I could always be as right as you.

I am also tired of biting my tongue and not replying.

I am sorry to the others on the list, I do not like to lash out. But

this is one of my fav groups to chat on and I just feel like there is

no longer anything to say. Because I know if I do " someone " will just

come along and bash it. I'm tired of seeing my friends being bashed

too.

We have always been an open and honest group. And I love that. So that

is why I am speaking out now. Besides, the teeth marks in my tongue

from all the replies I didn't send are starting to bleed.

Have you always been vegetarian?

Well, I didn't always do animal rescues and at the ripe old age of 17 got

married and became co-owner and then worked in a butchershop.

And I originally did bird and wildlife rescues. Still do but have since

widened the focus of our rescues.

The programme I saw didn't mention pigs, so maybe teats is a good place to

get blood from on a pig...

> c. wot won't wake the victime

Interesting thing is that a bite from a vampire bat very rarely wakes the

victim... and no-one knows why!!!!

That and they make like a little slice that they compared to getting a paper

cut. You don't feel it when it is happening and by the time you would

you've got the whatsit in there and it is numb.

Now, my question was, who the heck was the fool that let the bats bite them

so they'd know this stuff!

Well, I finally got this one way out of order.

I answered the part about the flowers in another post.

As to Playboy, I was 17 and would have had to wait a year. I think they

were more interested in the body than in the beauty <g> Besides, I was

newly married and it was NOT impressed! Color him green with jealousy. I

kept the contract because it was kewl but NO WAY was I going to parade

around half nekkid in front of a bunch of people. It was bad enough when my

girlfriend who modeled for Merle Norman talked me into modeling nylons when

we were in high school. It was kinda creepy!

My resume isn't all that impressive. I just get bored easily and go looking

for something else to do. They'd probably decide I was ADHD now and want to

stuff me full of Ritalin.

AND, you are NOT ugly! All of your messages here tell me you are a

beautiful person and that is the most important thing of all!!!!!!!

Well, that would explain why I don't see that many Goths around anymore.

The science lab folks have snatched them all off the streets! See, there is

a conspiracy against alternative life folks!

I don't know about anti-coagulants. On the other point though... it was

thought for years that this was the case, but on a full chemical analysis of

vampire bat saliva, they found that there was no chemical reason why people

didn't feel them biting... at least that was how it stoof about 3 years ago

:-)
