Hi Anouk

It was a bit of " friendly banter " ... partly connected to the recent comments

suggesting that everything good comes out of America... in the same way that

Peter Hurd sometimes makes comments about England, and we do about Wales in

return :-)

Hi Peter

> But surely you *haven't* come out of America? You're still there :-)

Potatoes are still here too...

Besides, I " came out " of America when I was 12 for the summer and

lived in London with brief visits to Paris and Ireland. And one of my

twins is still there! Does that not count?

Dda iawn Anouk.

The nearest translation to Peter in Welsh is Pedr.Couldnt find one for Anouk sorry. Welsh does have a habit of adopting english words until they become "Wenglish"

Wales does have a thriving music scene, with loads of Welsh speaking bands, and some that release in both languages.

If you get a chance give Super Furry Animals a listen. They have released in both languages, and their song writing is so good in either language.

Sorry, Iam going on a bit aren`t I!

Potatoes have come out of America on a much more permanent basis... but I

guess that if you left a twin behind, then that could put you in the same

class as the potatoes :-). Unless of course, it's an evil twin, in which

case it's probably not a good thing to have come out of America :-)

Oh garsh no, sorry to disappoint. Actually many moons ago Peter and

I created an " Evil Twin " program. Since then we've made some major

developments with them.

But they are quite convenient for getting out of sticky situations I

must say!

I've always found twins and multiples fascinating myself.

Dont know , Gwynedd is a county in Wales - sounds similar.According to the 2001 Census, 80% of young people (between the ages of 3 and 15) in Gwynedd speak Welsh. this means that Welsh is still the first language, the home language, of almost everyone who lives there.

List of Kings/Princes

Following the death of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd in 1282, and of his brother Dafydd ap Gruffydd the following year, eight centuries of independent rule by the house of Gwynedd came to an end, and the kingdom, which had long been one of the final holdouts to total English domination of Wales, was absorbed in the kingdom of Edward I, though Owain Lawgoch the great-nephew of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd claimed the throne and planned invasions from France in 1372 and 1377. An exception can be made for the Gwynedd-based rebellion of

Owain Glyndŵr (1359-c.1416)

Hey - don't tell everyone about the prototype lines... we don't want the

I'm pretty sure they know by now. But I will be careful I promise!

But at least our fail-safe methods of the scramblers and the long

range self-destruct mechanisms have worked out well!

I doubt it... we've kept things under wraps pretty well... what with all

that false information we've been putting out.

Yes - I was impressed by the field tests... all except for that incident in

St Petersburgh, which we really could have done without. Still, those evil

twins we've got working in the PR department did a great job, and I think we

got away without too many people looking in our direction.

My mom is a twin, but her twin died in childbirth. She says she's always felt like half of her is gone and thinks it was her better half.

My eldest daughter has twins and I've cursed my middle daughter with trippletts. My eldest daughter lives in another state and I told my middle daughter she was gonna have trippletts so that there would be one for each of the grannies to hold and one for her too, but it would be too much work to be alone so that she would have to stay close to me. Her ex believed it so much he didn't want to do anything that would cause her to get in that condition. She realized then that having a family is pretty important, so if it wasn't to him, he might not be the best choice for her.earthstrm <nikkimack wrote:

Well, I didn't think it would do any harm at this stage... and it is

something we shouldn't forget... after all, we did learn a *lot* from the

results obtained, even if it wasn't the most pleasant thing to have

happened.

Well, yes... horrific doesn't come close, but still, we can at least console

ourselves with the improvements that came about as a result.
