Guest guest
What do you call mumps? My neighbor (she used to work for Lady Wentworth) called mumps glandular fever. She called mono the same slang as here, the kissing disease. Lynda - Jo Cwazy Friday, August 26, 2005 1:04 PM Re: Re: Eat more veggies & fruits (dah) We call it glandular fever Peter. I had it when I was 16 - okay one day and thought I was dying the next - sore throat, so tired you feel you can hardly move - aches and pains etc. It took about four or five weeks to feel back to normal. Guest guest
Hi Jo Mmmmm, it is! And a bit spicy too. Tonight will be a veggie sandwhich on country bread, homemade veggie soup from the garden (thank goodness the a/c is on)and a salad. Geesh, it's 7:16 a.m. and I'm ready for it now! I'm sure I'll be hungry then too. Have a baby shower this afternoon and not sure how Vegan friendly it will be. Guest guest
I think you will find that most fish and chip shops in the uk have moved away from using dripping/lard/animal fat as vegetable oil is cheaper. This doesnt mean that their chips are vegan however, because everything goes through that oil-fish,rissoles etc. The Valley Vegan.............ioannis Tsoucas <itsoucas wrote: And I think the common thing between both chips orfries is: Both are cooked in animal fat in fish andchips shops and in restaurants. > Sun, 21 Aug 2005 20:16:05 +0100> "Jo Cwazy" > Re: Eat more veggies & fruits (dah)> > I think the difference between English chips and> French fries is that English chips are chunky> whereas French fries are thin.> _________ Messenger - NEW crystal clear PC to PC calling worldwide with voicemail http://uk.messenger.
