Since I've become pizzelle obsessed, LOL, I've been doing some research.

Someone suggested adding red and green sprinkles to the batter at Christmas.

They melt when cooked and give the finished product sort of a red and green

rainbow effect. Not exactly my cup of tea, but festive for the holidays, I

guess.
