Symptoms of Eating Garlic, Onions, Spices: Heart Rate, Taste Buds

Yes, your heart SEEMS to beat faster because it DOES beat faster. Cleanup

requires increased activity, and urgent cleanup all the more so.

Yes, because you have given your system considerable rest, your taste buds

have healed, and they are now much more sensitive, much more fully alive and

aware, than in the past. You notice the contrast as you never have before.

And all the time, self-awareness increases along with vitality, and we

progress. Yaay!

Elchanan

>Now, if I do eat som guacamole from a restaurant, and it has garlic and/or

onions, I REALLY notice. My heart seems to beat a little faster and my mouth

feels a bit burned.

I noticed this when I had a roast last weekend with the family - usually my

absolute favourite meal, which is why I chose to eat it. My first bite

shriveled the tastebuds on the tip of my tongue before I even got to chew.

After that, my tongue felt numb, and I barely tasted anything. It felt like

I'd taken a sip of boiling hot tea, and burnt my mouth, but the food wasn't

that hot, it was just the salt in the gravy I think. Very disappointing

anyway!
