Guest guest Report post Posted November 9, 2006 I can imagine it would be painful on receding gums! I know people with sensitive teeth who can't eat ice cream. Guest guest Report post Posted November 18, 2009 I just got a Rival Soft Server ice cream maker (for free), and I'm looking for a recipe for it that isn't dairy. Soy is fine. Ideas? Shannon
Guest guest Report post Posted November 18, 2009 I would guess that the recipe booklet didnt come with the contraption so you could try and substitute ingredients. You might see if you can find the cookbook " Vice Creams " a vegan ice cream primer. I also understand that a new one is coming out called " Lick It " . My Sweet Vegan cook book author has the blog, bittersweet, downloadable e-book called " A la Mode " at http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/e-books/ A review by another vegan blogger: Everywhere you look, it's vegan ice cream! Adding to the list of vegan ice cream cookbooks, I'd like to point my dear readers to À La Mode, an e-book from the author of My Sweet Vegan. For five bucks you get 13 recipes, plus variations and whatnot. All I have to say about the book is: Buttered Popcorn Ice Cream. Seriously, this woman is a freaking genius. Buttered (or, rather, Earth Balance'd) popcorn is my favorite snack ever, and now I can have it with ice cream. In ice cream. As ice cream. buttered popcorn ice cream................hmmm Patricia Squyres (714) 299-6468 (714) 974-7055 Fax --- On Tue, 11/17/09, Shannon West <shanwest wrote: Shannon West <shanwest ice cream " " Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 5:13 PM  I just got a Rival Soft Server ice cream maker (for free), and I'm looking for a recipe for it that isn't dairy. Guest guest Report post Posted November 18, 2009 We make coconut milk ice cream with agave nectar, sometimes adding avocado purée as an emulsifier. My most common flavor is chocolate with orange zest. No recipe, though---I just add stuff till it looks and tastes right.
