Thank you for the offer of gas $$$, but even if I drive to Abilene, there is no one to take the dog the rest of the way to Lubbock. And, I need to find a way to get the puppy that Cynthia got over mange to Lubbock next weekend.

I just don't see a way out for the chow and Susan has already emailed another list of dogs that will likely need help out b/c of some holiday on Monday; I didn't realize they were closed on Monday, the second and fourth dogs on this list are both very sweet, don't understand why they haven't been moved to adoptions. The Lab x and the white shepherd mix are very nice dogs. So, I can't ask for more time for the chow.

If any vaccinations ($8 DHPP /Bord , $10 Rabies), heartworm check ($18) or microchip

($8) are requested.

*It is the groups responsibility to make sure that the person they are sending is

on their pull list.

2) E-mails will be checked daily. Groups will receive a confirmation e-mail saying TAGGED if the animal has been tagged for your group. If you do not receive this e-mail the animal has not been tagged for your group.

3) You will be notified if the animal becomes in jeopardy of euthanasia. Please be prepared to pick up the animal by 5:30pm the same day if at all possible, no later than 5:30pm the following day. (3:30 on Saturday) You are welcome to call or e-mail to find out the status of an animal at anytime.

It takes me 1/2 tank of gas to get just to Abilene and I drive a 2003 Tahoe, don't really know what it costs to fill up now, probably $60; to get to Lubbock is a five-six hour drive whereas it takes about 2 1/2 hours to get to Abilene. And when taking Debbie's Chow from Plano to Abilene a couple of weeks ago, my speedometer stopped working. Had no idea how fast I was going. Haven't been able to get it checked yet. I cannot drive all the way to Lubbock.
