Guest guest
I pulled out my pressure cooker today and fantasized I would make some beans quickly.. I followed the directions precisely, but somehow managed to end up with a slurry of bean remains... I'm thinking it might make a rather tasty base for a soup, but I'm at a loss for how to accompish this. Any advice? Thanks, Angela

Guest guest
Oooo, we love when this happens! I mix some rice, spices (chili powder & cumin for Mexican, Basil/It Seasoning & Garlic for Italian, Cayenne, Garlic and thyme for Cajun..it's your choice), sauteed aromatics (carrots, onions, celery, bell pepper, etc) and make BEAN BALLS! After a whirl in the food processor to make sure everything is mixed and the mixture is a little dry, I make balls with the mixture. (I use a cookie scoop. If you don't have one, run, don't walk! Get one, you'll love it!) Then I bake in a high oven, 450ish for about 10 minutes until they're crispy. Serve with " ranch " dressing or ketchup. I've also baked them covered with sweet and sour sauce and served with rice or mashed potatoes. My son especially likes these " meatballs " . Enjoy!
