Guest guest
Here is a website devoted to making the transition from a meat diet to a veg diet: http://vegcooking.com/makingthetransition.asp And here are good websites for basic veggie health information: http://www.veganhealth.org/ http://goveg.com/healthConcerns.asp You might consider waiting before you buy expensive supplements. As long as you eat a healthy, varied veg*n diet, you'll be getting all the nutrients you need plus plenty of protein. There are exceptions, of course--if you're a weight-lifter you might need some more protein, and you'll want to take some B12. There would be cause for concern if you go vegan by eating nothing but french fries and soy ice cream. But as long as you're eating grains, legumes, beans, fruits and vegetables you'll be fine and I bet you're going to feel great! Congratulations and good luck. What made you decide to go veg?
