Guest guest
This is an alert regarding a national bill that would have implications for animal activists everywhere. It would criminalize forms of protest that are legal under the First Amendment if they are by animal activists and harm the profits of corporations. See info below for more details. It is crucial that this bill not pass! Please take a moment to call your representative on Monday! If you’ve never called a legislator before, don’t be intimidated. The person who answers the call will not grill you for your reasons or ask for or argue details of the bill. They may want your name and zip code, and that’s it. They basically are just tallying the number of calls they receive on each side of particular issues and usually track where in the district the call is coming from. This will take less than 2 minutes. You can find your representative’s contact info at www.house.gov. Thanks!
