Nausea or Stomach Sickness

Hi Christy,

I'm a vegan. When I was lacto-ovo I sometimes had a minor problem with what

you're describing when I ate dairy and egges, especially dairy. And now I

occasionally have the same thing with soy. The only way you could tell for sure

would be do do a (long) test and give up eggs and dairy and soy for at least 6

weeks and if your symptoms go away see if they do add one ingredient back at a

time to see when the symptoms come back.

You also might want to see your doctor. It might be a specific nutritional

deficiency that a blood test could diagnose. Given that your symptom started so

long after your diet change it might not be diet related at all, but another

medical problem entirely. A good doctor that listens should be able to help you

figure out what's wrong.

Nausea is a common symptom for all sorts of conditions: everything for

dehydration (I get it then if I don't hydrate enough when exercising, and I need

to

hydrate more than most other exercisers) to anxiety, and all sorts of other

reasons.

I hope that you figure out what's causing your discomfort. Best wishes to

you.

Lisa
