Local KFC demos / news coverage

Hi folks

 

We had a great turnout at last weekend's KFC demo in Pacifica -- there were 8 of us, which doesn't seem like a lot compared to some cities, but this is a *huge* turnout for Pacifica! Chris wore the chicken costume, and we told thousands of folks driving by about the cruelties the chickens endure at KFC. The show of short, supportive horn toots far outweighed the few negatively long horn blasts.

 

However, I was a bit concerned when I saw a woman climb out of a car in the KFC parking lot with a camera, and head in our direction. Turns out she's a reporter for the local paper and she took our picture and talked to us about what we were doing. In Pacifica, our message reaches over 2,000 cars travelling on Highway 1.
