Hi Everyone

We have some BAV t-shirts (white/short-sleeve) available/in-stock in two designs.

Shirts are $12 each. Normally they are $10.99 each + $4 shipping + tax when you order them from CafePress.com.

We got them for tabling, but thought we'd offer them to the list too as we always get questions on where to get them, especially the 'Go Vegan' blue cow design.

Designs can be seen at the links below -

1) 'BAV logo' design

2) 'Perform a death-defying act / Go Vegan' cow design

http://www.cafeshops.com/bavc.11720652

If you're interested, email us... we're going to some of the events this month and could bring it there.

VIPs -- you're eligible for a $2 discount as a thank you for your support.

More BAV merchandise can be found here at the following link,, including the new golden and silver BAV pin from WildBryde Jewelry.

Take care

That's interesting. Would be even better if it was an organic t-shirt

from someone like Maggie's Organics and a non-toxic design print from

someone like www.tsdesigns.com.

Hi Lance,

CafePress does offer organic t-shirts and those are already included in our lineup; just in the original email that I sent or go to our website ( http://www.BayAreaVeg.org )

Since you seem knowledgeable/informed/passionate about this issue, would you have time to research what other options are available to us? Or if there is even a veggie-owned business like CafePress? As everything we do is in our spare time, we really have to prioritize how we spend our time and on what projects, and researching t-shirts isn't at the top of our list... but if you can help, that would be most appreciative!

Just to give you more info: The t-shirts really aren't a major focus for us or BAV; we originally did the t-shirts just for us with iron-on's at home but then folks started asking us for them.

CafePress was selected because they offer a wide variety of shirts (like regular and organic cotton), they'd allow people to order as few or as many as are needed, they'd handle all the ordering/shipping, and they are a local Hayward company. Translation: we have no upfront costs, no inventory, no need to spend a bunch of time hawking t-shirts -- we've totally outsourced the whole process to another company, which allows us to have t-shirts as an option for folks who want them while we continue to devote our energies to BAV, its programs/projects and helping save animals.

But if you can email me more info as to what other companies have operating models like CafePress (or even better for our needs, as described above), and have more connections to the veg community, that would be good to know.

Since this discussion isn't really relevant to the mailing list, please direct all further replies to me off-list.

Take Care

Chris
