Café offers delicioussoups, sandwiches and ice cream. The Bay Leaf

Cafe is vegan owned andoperated. ALL DISHES ARE VEGAN and organic

The Bay Leaf has been one of my favorite restaurants sinceit opened.

Their Artichoke queasily is so cheesy it's hard tobelieve it's vegan!

About " The Witness " :

How does a construction contractor from a tough Brooklyn

neighborhood become an impassioned animal activist? In the award-

winning documentary THE WITNESS, Eddie Lama explains how he feared

and avoided animals for most of his life, until the

love of a kitten opened his heart, inspiring him to rescue abandoned

animals, become a vegetarian, and ultimately, to bring his message

of compassion to the streets of New York. With humor and sincerity,

Eddie tells the story of his remarkable change in consciousness,

sharing along the way some of the shocking realities of the meat and

fur industries.

But pleeeeese, use this opportunity to invite your non-veggie or non-

animal rights friends to an evening of AMAZING vegan food, good

enough to challenge any carnivore meal, and an excellent animal

rights movie. This is a great opportunity to spread the message!
