I think it is best that the dentist should be totally mercury-free in his/her practice, not just offer the option of mercury-free fillings. I consulted the Natural Choice Directory and chose Michael Hrankowski, D.D.S., who has a web site at www.eastlakedental.com. He offers you the option of using acupuncture anesthesia in place of conventional anesthesia (anesthetic drugs shot into your gums). You have to pay for the acupuncturist (and he says you may not get total numbing), so it does cost more that way. I have been happy with the service I have received there.
