Guest guest
Hey, as I just moved to Seattle last week, I'd love to find out more about the raw food community here and places/ cafes/ restaurants that are involved. Guest guest
Ulli (or anyone, for that matter), the best way to start would be to come to the next potluck on Saturday. Go to www.rawseattle.org and on the left click on " next event " for more information. Welcome to Seattle! Guest guest
Ulli, Welcome to Raw Seattle!!! Yes, the potlucks are the best place for great raw food and raw community. Keep an eye on the Raw Seattle website (http://www.rawseattle.org) for upcoming events. Listed are not just potlucks, but also special events like classes, dinners, and speaking events. Anyone interested in hosting a raw potluck just needs to follow instructions on the website. We do not have too many options in the way of raw restaurants in the area. The best place to go out for raw food in Seattle is Chaco Canyon. They have raw soups and entrees on the menu. Chaco Canyon Cafe 4759 Brooklyn Ave NE Seattle, WA 98105 (206)522-6966 Open Tuesday - Friday 7:30am - 6pm Saturday 8am - 4pm Closed on Sunday and Monday For getting answers to raw questions, etc., just post them to this list. Otherwise just talk to people at the potlucks. If you ever need a ride to a potluck, Just post to the list, asking to carpool. Take care, Jeff >Hey, as I just moved to Seattle last week, I'd love to find out more >about the raw food community here and places/ cafes/ restaurants >that are involved.
