Guest guest
I wish to thank all of you who have been so open and so honest about your feelings around The Kid Thing. Bless you, bless you! If I do get the courage to bring my little one to a potluck, I promise that I will do the best I can to sternly keep him out of everyone else's food! He is five, going on three, because he is autistic (his birthmother did a lot of drugs and alcohol when he was in utero). And if there is to be an " adult section " of the evening (i.e. with quiet talking), we will quietly slip away before it becomes challenging for those not used to the constant interruptions of the wee ones. My heart is warmed by this discussion. Thank you all so much for at least being willing to give it a go! I think a raw diet may be the key to this little one's healing. If I can only get my husband to buy it . . . You all rock. I may actually attempt a potluck now.
