Guest guest
Hi all, What a fabulous potluck we had last night! It was exciting to see so many faces new and old....especially all the NEW faces! The raffle was fun--- especially when I realized that I had raffled of the birthday boy's Mariner ticket! Hillarious! I intended to raffle of 3 tickets for people to go with Tim. I just got carried away---too much fun! Great food: Salads of all kinds, veggie burgers, buckwheat crackers with toppings, marinated mushrooms/onions, guacamole, truffles, cherries, raspberries, nectarines, strawberry dessert, puddings, and lasagna! (I'm sure there was more.) We had two presenters: Lisa Ladmer-Price of www.TheOlivePres.com (LisaLP) shared with us her totally raw organic olive oil for $15 a bottle. She even offered one for the raffle. Glyde of Glyde's Kitchen (kingofharts) shared her Fresh Food for the Skin products---yummy. There was even musical entertainment! I'm greatful for all who showed their smiling faces and for those who signed the two clipboards circulated about: 1) Community Outreach-- getting raw food booths at local events 2) Starting a food buying club or co-op You will be contacted! Last but not least----- Potluck leftovers--- 1) Did somebody buy a bottle of Lisa's oil and forget it? 2) One lonely wooden chopstick 3) One hard plastic water bottle. I think I saw 3 of those on the hike with their owners. I have a buyer for the oil, but the other two items will be held for awhile until the next potluck raffle to somebody who might like them. :-) So claim them now...... Until next month--- Peace and harmony Linda -- Heartsong
