Guest guest
Also not specific to raw living, but essential for optimal enjoyment of life :-), here is an excerpt of today's (August 24th, 2001) playlist schedule for the Seattle radio station Classic KING FM 98.1: 1:17pm MOZART: Serenade No.7 in D, K.250/248b " Haffner " Mackerras/Prague Chamber Orchestra TELARC: 80161 2:14pm BIZET: L'Arlesienne: excerpts Hogwood/Saint Paul 2:52pm MOZART: Symphony No.41 in C, K.551 " Jupiter " Gardiner/English Baroque Soloists PHILIPS: 426 315 4:00pm COPLAND: Rodeo: Hoe-Down No, vln; O'Riley, pno CONCERT RECORDING 5:00pm FLOTOW: Martha: Overture Fiedler/Boston Pops RCA: 5479 5:11pm MOZART, L.: Sinfonia da caccia (Hunt Symphony) Brown/Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields PHILIPS: 416 815 5:31pm WEBER: Der Freischütz: Overture (tr. All pieces in the list are great, but the last five are supremely excellent, moving, enthralling (the first movement of the Beethoven most especially), ethereal/otherworldly (the Elgar and Mendelssohn especially), etc. :-) Norm, I think I could still receive the station even way up at your place. For you other, more distant non- Seattlites, you can listen via the internet. Go to http://www.KING.org, which will explain how to do so.
