Guest guest Report post Posted July 27, 2004 There is an expression I read a while back that I'll paraphrase. The truth is first ignored then ridiculed then violently oppose and finally accepted. So maybe the increase in ridicule and the harmfull practices of the food and drug industry are indications that society is moving towards acceptance. As the saying goes " before we have a breakthrough we have a breakdown " . So I welcome what's occuring inspite of the discomfort. peace, Mark In a message dated 7/26/2004 5:55:57 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Namaska7 writes: > I very seldom watch TV. Guest guest Report post Posted July 27, 2004 Greeting to Mark and the group, I 2nd that, I believe Einstein came up with that expression and I always say any publicity, positive or negative is good publicity. And often times, negative publicity is better. ;-) Love and Light, Matt blakenson [blakenson] Tuesday, July 27, 2004 9:56 AM Re: Re: Raw Foods Commercial There is an expression I read a while back that I'll paraphrase. Guest guest Report post Posted July 27, 2004 Hello Raw Soul: I too think publicity, even controversial, can be helpful. The fact that there is even a silly national commercial about raw foods or that someone with a title says don't do raw foods means that it is entering the " mainstream. " Many of the healing modalities we don't think twice about today (massage, meditation, use of herbs, acupuncture, yoga etc.), even though well grounded in their traditions and research, were made fun of 10 to 15 years ago. The idea of low carb diet was also scoffed at and now it looks like the business corporations of food, have just discovered something else to dangle and sell. So, all in all, hearing the information and letting our hearts be our guide, seems to be the best answer..Blessings...Ashtarra
