If I boil tap water and let cool prior to drinking is that just as

good as store bought distilled water? I'm on a very tight budget and

the bottled water in my grocery store is almost $2 and I drink a

gallon of water per day. That's over $60 just for water per month.

thanks Lili

The only thing that boiling water will do is remove the chlorine. As it boils at

a temperature lower than water, so it will gas off. The problem with boiling

water is you will condense the inorganic minerals and fluoride as the water

evaporates. Your best source of water is Distilled or Reverse Osmosis by a

reputable source. Try to find them in a clear plastic container as the opaque

ones are softer and leach into the water. Your water should not have a taste. If

you need some flavor while you are detoxing add some lemon to it. Lemon will

also help break down mucus.

Good Luck

Hi Bruce, when you say " reverse osmosis " are you referring to a

machine I can purchase to do this? I called Hinckley Schmidt and a

few other water delivery companies and they charge between $30-$40

for 14 gallons of water including the water cooler rental per week.

There are two in my family and we both drink a gallon of water per

day.

There has to be a cheaper way to get distilled water. Now I see why

many people filter their water at home or drink spring water.

Unfortunately, although that is the cheaper way from what I've been

reading it's not the healthiest way.

The home cooler with water in the 5 gallon bottles is the best way to go. The

reverse osmosis or home distilation system would be a bit exspensive. I would go

with the Distilled. I think you will find that even with buying organic produce

you will be spending less money than the SAD fooders in the long run. I try to

buy the best for my body and Water is the most important part in a lot of

peoples eyes.
