Guest guest Report post Posted April 3, 2002 I started eating all raw this week. I have developed 6 canker sores in my mouth and have gotten two huge pimples on my forehead. All of these things seem to be getting worse. My pimples have been oozing for two days straight this weird yellow fluid. Is this normal? I am getting a little concerned. Plus it hurts to eat due to my many canker sores, I seem to get a new one everyday and the old ones are not healing as quickly as i'd like them to..... Amy> =====It's a little scary when you're doing healthy things for your body and find your body turning on you. This is a good article which explains some changes your body will go through while getting rid of all the toxins that have built up over the years. http://www.angelfire.com/ny2/bass/symptoms.html Françoise
Guest guest Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Hi Amy, That is definitely detox symptoms you are going through. I had canker sores in my mouth for the first week. Then they quickly went away. Your body is transitioning. Now it depends on how much toxicity it has to clean out. My friend had sores appear on his leg during his first six months of going completely raw, then they went away. Keep posting if you feel scared and I'm sure someone will help you out. Roger Haeske http://www.superbeing.com rawfood, femmebabe19 <no_reply> wrote: > I started eating all raw this week. Guest guest Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Hi Amy, Are you eating a lot of citrus? Or strawberries or other acid fruits? This could account for canker sores. Whatever food you have been eating a lot of could stimulate the detox process; so to slow it down, back off the most consumed foods. Things change quickly during detox, so keep going...you will be glad you did! Sue rawfood, femmebabe19 <no_reply> wrote: > I started eating all raw this week.
