Waterloo cup demonstration - 25th February 2003

 

The annual festival of cruelty, the Waterloo Cup hare coursing

competition begins on the 25th February near Southport in Lancashire.

 

Once again the League Against Cruel Sports will be supporting a

demonstration against this cruelty on the opening day (Tuesday 25th

Feb).

 

Last year's demonstration was a well mannered and peaceful procession

and was effective in getting our message across and gaining valuable

media coverage including on BBC online: -
