Guest guest
http://www.levantenet.com/asianwildlife/references.html This web site is maintained by an Asian animal training company called " Asian Wildlife Conservancy. " Primates trained for " shows " at zoos around Southeast Asia include: Chimpanzees Gibbons Macaques Orangutans There are also lots of other mammals, including otters, tigers, lions, elephants, bears, and many birds. The company states that: " Among the zoos we have worked or cooperated with are:- Singapore Zoological Garden - breeding and animals exchange Taiwan, Zoo Negara, Taipei Zoo - animals exchange Israel, Tel Aviv Zoo - animals exchange U.S.A, Nashville Zoo - MOU with ZPO [Memorandum of Understanding with Zoological Parks Organization] Korea, Samsung Zoo - MOU with ZPO Malaysia, Taiping Zoo - MOU with ZPO " Taiping Zoo is the facility that procured four baby gorillas on the international black market earlier this year. In the 1980s many orangutans reached Taiwan on the international black market. Some of these animals and/or their descendants have apparently been shipped to Thailand. There is a link directly to the company if you have any opinions to express after reviewing this site.
