(CN) 4 caught in poisonous dog meat case

JIANGXI

Four people were arrested early last week for their involvement in the

poisonous dog meat case in Dayu County of Jiangxi Province, reports

Guangzhou-based Southern Metropolis News. Two more suspects are at large,

police said. A large quantity of poisonous dog meat was discovered in

Guangdong Province and policemen found its source to be Dayu County.

Officials have set up roadblocks to check all cargos going out of the

county. More than 1,200 kilograms of dog meat has so far been seized.
