Sugar for choc. frosting recipe

Can anyone suggest what would be a good sugar to use for the

chocolate frosting recipe that was posted to the list last week?

A friend of mine wants to try the recipe, but we're wondering what

would be a good sugar. I've used Sucanat in the past, but the

frosting tended to turn out much too grainy.
