Guest guest Posted July 11, 2001 Report Posted July 11, 2001 I have found a company called Sahib Overseas, Inc. in Virginia that sells Halal and Kosher marshmallows which appear to be vegan. The company sent me an ingredients list which is as follows: corn syrup, sugar, cornstarch, agar agar, artificial flavor, water. A box of 24 8-oz packages is $40. I have not tried these yet, but I am preparing to order them. susan ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! Guest guest Posted July 12, 2001 Report Posted July 12, 2001 I don't know the difference between Halal and Kosher, except that Halal is to Islam as Kosher is to Judiasm, I think...in this case, I simply asked for a list of the ingredients to see if it served my vegetarian purposes!
