We made pizza tonight from a similar type of bread recipe. The cookbook is

called " My Bread " by Jim Lahey. Very yummy!

Whitney

The recipe in the " Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes " ...it is vegan, easy, quick and

adaptable to most any kind of grain. Also cheap! Here in Hawaii, where a loaf of

bread can be $5-$7 a loaf, price was getting to be a problem. I have tossed my

old breadmaker and we have great bread everyday.

Hi Pat and all,

Still here and reading - I like any sort of whole wheat bread, the coarser grain

the better - sometimes get Allinson bread for a treat but it's not something I

would want every day. I used to collect dark blue things (e.g. bottles of a

certain kind of mineral water, vases etc.) but this phase seems to have stopped,

but will choose this colour if forced to a choice. No companion animals.

French Bread with a yummy thick crust.  Especially if combined with a great

vegetable soup on a cold day.  YUM!

My favorite bread is a multi-grain type, but no particular brand. I don't eat it

very often and a loaf will last for weeks in the freezer.

My favorite bread hands-down is sourdough, preferably real San Francisco

sourdough.  It's a good thing for my waistline that I don't live near the

West coast! ;)

Well, I think our family has a couple of favorites.

Moroccon Olive Pugliese from costco, and the

Multiland birdseed bread from whole foods!

I think my favorite type of bread is....Whole Wheat, but usually done in an

interesting design. I recently bought one shaped like a football. It got the

whole family eating it.

Cornbread and vegan white or multi grain bread.

I love lots of colors, not so much on what people call neutrel colors.

I love all animals but kitty-cats are at the top of the list.
