Guest guest Report post Posted May 23, 2007 It's actually a peppermint(variation) occasionally walmart has it when they get their mints in at the beginning of the year for the spring planting season. It's just a hybrid like pineapple mint. I'll see if I can find some information on it for you. It's very reminiscent of grasshopper cookies, girlscout thin mints and the like. Although it can be too strong if you use too many leaves to make the tea. I usually make regular tea and squish some of the leaves in the pitcher. And had I not killed all my mints over the summer last year I'd send you some. It reminds me of After 8 chocolate/mint wafers. Yum! I'll gladly send some to people in Canada, but is it even possible to send live plants into the USA without a great deal of hassle? I do like a good mint garden which often includes those that are more of a sage like the pineapple sage mint, the chocolate mint and such. I also love the eau de cologne mint, so pungent and similar in shape to the delicious Vietnamese mint.
