Please don't let this hold you back. I have no doubt that any book

from you would not only be a welcome addition to the literature, but

would maintain its relevance for quite some time. And if it needs

updating in the future, then you can publish a revised edition. :)

Marco:

I agree and you Zev' could get it digitilised in database format (or?)

Hi All, & Hi Z'ev,

I look foward to your book, Z'ev. I hope that it will be available as

html [not pdf !!] files. HTML files are much easier to tabulate and

edit it to our own needs.

Anyone who has used digital files or databases appreciates that

STANDARDISED terminology is ESSENTIAL if the data are to be

searched quickly and easily. Therein lies the need for choosing

ONE term for ONE concept.

For example, if several texts are to be integrated and summarised

seamlessly into one large base of data, terms like deficient lung,

weakness of the lungs, lung deficiency, qi deficiency of lung, etc

can all be reduced to the single term Feixu (or LU Xu).

Once terms are standardised WITHIN a file (and, better still,

BETWEEN files), the PC's Find Function can locate every instance

of a given term [say LU Xu] on the drive.

How about it Ze'v? Have you decided on the terminology to be used

in YOUR Glossary?

Best regards,

I'll be working with Bob Felt on the glossary. And, yes, it will

adhere to the Wiseman dictionary standard, and variant terms will be

noted. However, the nature of the text will make the glosaary

relatively small in size. The text will be connotative to a large

degree. Basically, it is my personal commentary on the pulse chapters

in the Nan Jing, in a style not dissimilar to Shudo Denmai's " Finding

Effective Acupuncture Points " text.

I also have a long-delayed herbal text in the works as well.

I wasn't aware that Chip's workshops weren't recorded. I'll check with

him when he gets back from vacation.
